CFL fan kicked out of game for wearing a paper bag on his head

Apr 15, 2024

A longtime fan of the Edmonton Elks was kicked out of the stadium last weekend for wearing a brown paper bag over his head.

Cameron Jones the fan has every right to wear a bag if you ask me, the Elks are horrible. Jones was ordered to leave by police and is trying to find out why he was kicked out.

I’m like, ‘For what reason?’ And (the policeman) says, ‘Security asked me to have you leave the premises.’ He’s like, ‘If we don’t like your white shoes or the way you’re dressed, the premises has the ability to kick you out for no reason.’

The Elks were tore up by the BC Lions and lost 27-0.

The wild thing is Jones called the Elks to ask why he was discriminated against and kicked out of the stadium. The Elks told him it was a City of Edmonton issue. So Jones called the City of Edmonton who told him it was an Elks issue.

If you ask me, the Edmonton Elks should give him season tickets, because if he was willing to pay money to go watch them get pummeled he truly is a fan. If he is wearing a bag on his head, maybe you need to make a change in coaching or management. This does not sound like a Cameron Jones problem, it sounds like a much bigger problem.

What do you think? Should the fan have been kicked out of the game?
